standard UPU post card is shown above. It
is believed that about 20,000 were issued out of the
order for 55,000
cards, the remainder being overprinted. |
| These
cards were, in theory, current from April 1887 to September 1899, when
a new
design became available. |
| This
example was posted from Bangkok in February 1888 and arrived in
Bremerhaven,
Germany on 22 March 1888. It is an
enquiry to a cigar dealer regarding deliveries. |
